The weather has been perfect.
After chores I did a few things on my computer and then it was time for class.
Len brought in several prints that he had made from his paintings. The quality was terrific.
They were covered in plastic, so the photos aren't the best...but I think you get the idea.
Helen brought in some of her work and we were figuring out what color mat would work the best.
Which do you prefer? I think the black makes it pop.
Remember all those paintings that were delivered yesterday?
My students took four and Len took the loose canvas. Gary and I can't wait to start painting on the 5 that are remaining. The only problem....we don't have any wall space left in the house. Might have to be wall to wall in the studio.
After class and lunch I made a couple more deliveries. This campaigning stuff is a real learning experience. Direct contact is so important. The residents of our Town need to become informed voters and most are not aware of many issues.
Late afternoon our friend Mike L. stopped in. He is from Bemis Point and lives on Chautauqua Lake.
(that's where Gary and I are from). After his business in Rochester he headed home via our farm.
These two have been best friends since kindergarten....
Love seeing them together.
Still best buds.
Not in the mood to make a fancy dinner, so we had breakfast....again.
Chores at 7:15.
It's getting dark so much earlier.
Tucked the girls in....
And here I am.
Night all.

Black mat, stunning flowers, are they gerberas? And more canvas than you know where to put them. What a grand day for everyone.
I need a nap, just reading about your busy day!
I like the black mat best. Busy day again, I'd need a nap too!
What a lovely post, Lori especially Gary and Mike meeting up! Oh, and we often have breakfast for supper - scrambled egg on toast, omelettes, bacon and fried eggs. This flummoxes our Afrikaans acquaintances who think this should only be eaten in the morning. Love your horses and hope the cat got a peaceful place to lie down! Have a great day. Jo
Definitely the black. Great art work
