Beat It....

 Very windy this morning.

After chores it was time for a trike ride, down Ladue Road.
I carry a basket in my bike basket so I can take along water, my phone and camera.  Didn't have enough clothing on but did not turn back to get a sweatshirt.  That wind made a difference.
Hip Hip!  Our second round of spinach came in and it's the best we have ever had.  So tender.
The glads are starting to bloom....
and it looks like we might have some corn pretty soon.

More lettuce and lots of flowers.

Played bridge from 1-4 and it was hilarious.  One goof after another.  Terry was my partner...love playing with her as we are on the same page....

Had to be at the Welcome Center by 5 so we could rehearse for tomorrow nights performance.  Fortunately it stopped raining before we got there.
Had a great time and the drummers really appreciated the venue.

Over 20 people stopped to listen and we had a few participate....hope to do that tomorrow night too.  There will also be 4 dancers.
Working with this group is an absolute pleasure.  I sure wish Khalid (our teacher) could get back to Brockport in time to play with us.

These kids had a great time and will come back tomorrow night.

Got home at 7:30 and the sky was looking crazy.

Tucked the girls in for the night and thought it was going to pour before I got back to the house.
Check out all the onions we picked.  Three different kinds, and some of them are ginormous.
That about does it.
Night all.

Good luck on tomorrow nights performance--I've no doubt it will be enjoyed by those like you who are participating, and those who attend!

I enjoyed your flower photos of the onions, and the sunflowers! I keep forgetting about planting some of my own, so I can only enjoy the photos.

Enjoy your evening--It's autumn in August here! :-)

Hi there,

Since I started my new job I don't have any time for blogging but told a friend of mine about your blog today and just had to stop by.

I love your new header picture of the horse...just beautiful!
