Could We Be Headed In The Right Direction?

First my flower for today...we still have a ton of snow (but it's melting).

Next, one of the drawings that will be in the Skoog Farm Workshop Retrospective this month.
Sandy C. did this one...it's in colored pencil and is very large and commanding.

Now for the dog and pony show.  We had beautiful light from morning 'til night.

At 11:30 I was picked up by my friend Alice, to go out to lunch...she got to pick where we would end up and it was Friendly's.  I have not been there in at least a decade, but I was fine with wherever she wanted to go.  I was bad!  Had a honey BBQued chicken melt on sourdough toast with crispy fries and I even had a Coke.  (I know I know!  We never have Coke in the house but will have one occasionally when I go out.  The worst part is the fact that Coke uses Monsanto products and that is a big no no for me).  It was so good....
After much catching up, I got home around 2:30 and decided to make something healthy for dinner.  Corn chowder.
Of course my two buddies followed me everywhere.

I've said it before...when it looks like this in the library it's time for chores.
 What a gorgeous evening!

Tucked the girls in around 6:30.

We did not eat until 7.
 Just salad and soup.
47 today and 60 tomorrow!  Am I dreaming????
Night all.

We had 60+ today and it was delightful, even with the high winds. Back into the 40s for a while . . .

It was a lovely 60 degree day today! I hope you had the same. Enjoyed the photos. I like the large colored pencil work.

Hi Lori, sorry I haven't been around. Our Internet played up last week and then the power had a go at us mere mortals over the weekend! We also had lots of heavy rain showers and all flowers were battered and bent by the time I got out to photograph them! I will post a beautiful orchid type bloom - which I found in a sheltered spot at the club - on my Wednesday bird post. Hopefully your snow is melting and your weather is warming! I love the bear drawing ! Have a great day. Greetings, Jo

Love the picture of the bear.

Looks like a nice day. Your snow should be melting soon. Was snowing here yesterday morn but didn't amount to much and melted by afternoon. Happy April Fools Day!
