Cooper fell asleep on the way up to the farm, and slept through dinner...When we finished, Finn was very anxious to learn how to play the board game SEQUENCE. He has been waiting to do this for two weeks, and I think he got it! When Coop woke up, it was all about dessert and Power Rangers.

FUN AND GAMES....
THANK YOU.....

We have so much to be thankful for......
Many of my blogging friends have written some beautiful things...beyond Thanksgiving, here is a quote I am stealing from Virginia at Teachings of the Horse...it is from author Ann Beattie.
"What will happen can't be stopped. Aim for grace." I could learn from this!!!
FORMAL INTRODUCTIONS...
This morning I put Winnie on a lead and walked her around the herd... when her owners got here we turned her loose for about 10 minutes. Not a bad transition....they all went into the outdoor arena (which currently looks like a place for mud wrestling) and proceeded to trot through the water. For a minute there, I thought Masterpiece was going to roll in the water....what a mess that would have been. Winnie went back into her run in /pasture area and I finished the chores so I could get started on some preparations for dinner.

THE MASTERPIECE MARATHON...
SHEPHERD'S MILL...
Today we went to get sawdust. Winnie's family volunteered to pick it up, so I went along to show them how to find the mill and secure the tarps so it didn't all blow away on the way home. What a difference having help...it was unloaded in half an hour. The stalls are like feather beds.
THERAPY DOG BUSINESS...
Every year, Phoebe needs to have an update from the vet to renew her certification with Therapy Dogs, International. Going there was one of my stops today. I have been so busy with Town/Center business it took me awhile to get my act together. Doc Edwards is by far the best small animal vet I have ever come in contact with and he has taken care of our dogs and cats for many years.
HEAD START...
I thought I would get the table set tonight so I can work on cleaning the house in the morning. Because the table in my Studio is very long, we eat special dinners there. Usually I get a long piece of fabric for a table cloth, but there is nowhere to buy it in town...instead, I bought two twin size flat sheets and made what I needed. In the past, I bought about 30 black and white bandanas for a party and use them for napkins...so the black table cloth.
