It started raining last night and continued this morning so we decided to lock the girls in the indoor with their breakfast while we cleaned stalls.
A little after two it really ramped up (I even heard some thunder) so before they were totally soaked I put them in their stalls. Abbe and Berlin's blankets are drip drying as I'm posting this.
It's not that cold, so they will wear their sheets tonight. Tomorrow we may be in the mid to high 50s. Right.....
Gary built us a nice fire and I had a few domestic moments, making a banana cream pie.
Then, I got under a blanket and watched a movie...."The Call" with Halle Berry.
Scary, but pretty good.
Made fresh coleslaw to go with our leftovers for dinner...
and went out to the barn at 6 to grain the girls and give them a little more hay and water.
It was still raining and I'm sure they appreciated being cozy and dry.
This weather is not doing anything for me.
Night all.

Rained on and off all day here too. I'm sure your girls appreciate being warm and cozy. The pie looks good. I could go for some of that right about now. ;) watched a good movie last night called The Judge.
Love seeing your horses and reading about rain is nice too. Wish it was raining here. Smiles
April showers bring May flowers, right? I wish we could get some of your rain. Trade?
Yummy pie, so good the stalls are right there for dry nights and days!! Down here more rain, 53mm since last night. Grass is green, weeds are growing, stream is rising!!
The horses look so content in their stalls. I can almost smell the hay and hear them rustling! I hope you get some cheerful days soon!
