It's Time To Harvest The Garlic...

More rain last night and off and on all day.

 Class this morning.

 Daniela joined us for awhile.
 Got hooked on pointilism.

There was more spinach to be picked after class.
Gary is getting pretty serious about harvesting the garlic and is pulling it out everyday.

The heads are huge this year...the horses were major contributors.
Late afternoon we had thunder, lightning and heavy rain, so nice person that I am....went out and put the girls in.

Within half an hour the sun came out.

Gary worked on dinner while I was in the barn.
After all the activity, we were happy to have eggs, homefries and English Muffins.
Right about now Ariana and Daniela are out to dinner with Tina and Roger.  I wonder what they ordered at Grampa Sam's.
The evening sun is beautiful and the temperature has dropped considerably.  Feels great.

Night all.

  1. Wow, at the garlic! It looks great!

  2. What yummy-looking garlic. Well done to Gary and the horses! Lori, thank you for popping over to my blog and for your kind and valued comment. I will hold onto it and forge ahead with this fascinating new hobby! Enjoy your day. Greetings. Jo

  3. So nice harvest of garlic we have yet to harvest anything with this rain thing:) Nice day Lori I am sure you will have another one today. Hug B

  4. Looks like a full house in the studio. Nice!
We went out to lunch today, a rare treat. I had a Greek garlic dip and thought of Skoog garlic. It was delish.

Thank you for reading The Skoog Farm Journal. I do not have google+ and am unable to comment on those blogs. Would love to reach some of you and need email addresses. Your comments are appreciated.
