Not too bad this morning, but around 10am we had a major squall and you could hardly see the barns.
We thought it was going to be at least 34 degrees today so Alice was set to come over for Spa Day. She arrived around 10:45 after the squall and by then it was very windy and bitter.
We called the boys and they decided to join us.
I put them in the stalls with hay and we did a minor grooming, picked their feet and gave them carrots and cookies.
Alice left around noon and the boys were in their stalls for about an hour and a half finishing their hay. By then, the wind died down quite a bit and I put them back outside.
Had a nice long chat with my friend Hanny and started watching a series she recommended.
Back out at 5. Nothing special was going on....no beautiful colors in the sky.
Tucked the boys in and finished getting dinner ready. Earlier I had made Ham and Scalloped potatoes and threw it in the crockpot for the afternoon. Finished it off with a carrot/apple/craisin/walnut salad.
We are in for more cold weather and I am not looking forward to it. My blog pals, Sandra and Val, are sending it to us.
