“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt

I actually slept last night.  Chores as usual.  Abbe seems a little bit better.
Sent Gary down to Java for a change.
For my swan song I mowed two pastures while he was gone.  When he got back he put up a fence board and I headed back to the house.
My pups are going to wonder where I am.  Sally and Judy are going to spend some time
with them today!

I see that the minis across the street are relaxing in the morning sun.
Just got a call to go in early.  I'm off.
Really appreciate all your comments and emails.
We'll see how well I can communicate
later on today.  Aren't you excited about going to the hospital with me and my camera?

  1. I am most excited about all of this. (I'm just saying that to be cordial!)
It sounds like you certainly kept yourself busy before heading in.
I'm sending good vibes - all the way from Utah!

  2. All the critters will be fine...this will be a piece of cake! Relax and rest, friend!

  3. I'm glad that Abbe is better!!

You take care and I'm sending good thoughts in your direction!!

  4. I'm sending warm rays of Florida sunshine and many prayers.

  5. laptop, lights, camera, ACTION !! Nothing like photos from a different place to make us wait in anticipation. Safe surgery, speedy recovery, your family will sure welcome you home. Cheers from Jean.

  6. The pups look like they already miss you. By the time you see this, you will have your new knee. Congratulations -- now get to work! Bend that baby. It'll come back better than you could have imagined. I promise.

  7. Best of luck, dear Lori! Chin up, girl!

  8. Your pets are a bunch of hams -- lol --- Thinking of your day -- good, good luck!!! Hugs.

    Anne ♥♥

  11. Hope you recover quickly.

  12. Lori, it's a nice thought: your friends going to hospital with you to help lessen the stress and pain! Your poochies will miss you and I see you also make arrangements not to leave them alone. I am already planning my trip in June that my house lady comes in every morning to feed my cats and then again in the afternoon to set out clean water, and evening cookie treats. They could eat their own food for at least a day or so, but I want them to have company! Hope you're doing well in that there hospital! Blessings, Jo

  13. Only you would go out and mow a couple pastures before heading off to hospital. Only you. Ready for your Grand Adventure!
