Not motivated! I have really backed off on my picture taking for the past couple of days. Do you think it has to do with the sun disappearing?
It was nice and mild this morning and chores were a piece of cake.
Maybe my mood was reflected by the blahness of the color in this photo.
I stayed close to home all day...ordered more cards...did not accomplish a whole lot.
Jenny and the boys were coming for dinner so I did manage to put a yummy meal together.
I par boiled 4 chicken breasts with onions and carrots...placed them in a pie plate and covered with homemade bbq sauce.
Coleslaw for a change (cabbage, carrots, apples and craisins).
We froze a lot of corn off the cob this fall. There is no comparison when it comes to flavor.
Made some baked potatoes and Johnny Cake (corn bread).
The boys ate like champs. Then Cooper worked on a drawing in colored pencil...
And Finn did his homework.
Enjoyed the fire, Gary went to a meeting and the house was quiet by 7:30.
Sack time for the kitties. They have spent a lot of time outside lately.
L'orange is much more comfortable around Phoebe and Gucci now.
Tomorrow I am going to have to get the lead out. Night all.

Looks like you were plenty busy to me. That meal looks delicious! The grey days are tough.
Such a cute picture of Seymour and Sidney - best buddies!
BBQ sauce on anything is awesome! Chicken especially.
How cold is it there? -10 here this morning and only supposed to get to 1 for the high. But warmer temps and sunshine are on the menu for this weekend.
Hang in -- this too shall pass. :)
At some point in the winter, the dark and cold just get to you. Rest up and soon things will look better - spring's just around the corner.
I think we're all tired of the gray days a little color would be nice. You seemed busy enough today and your dinner looks scrumptious.
Even your lazy days are busy! Your dinner looks delicious, as usual. Hope today is full of joy.
I have to admit that I also hate the grey dreary rainy days. I guess that is what I like about snow. At least it brightens it up a bit. Sometimes though it is okay to kick back and just take it easy. Although that is hard to do when you have stalls to clean and mouths to feed.
We haven't had the snow but we've had the gray and rain rain rain and we, too, are feeling lethargic. But I sure love your pics . . .
Of course Finn and Cooper ate like champs. They had an awesome meal! (as usual). I especially like your cole slaw with apples and craisens. Nice touch!
Your writing made for a cozy scene along with the photos. The kids are so cute.
"Get the lead out"? lol, you do more in a day than most folks do in a week1
I am a bit weary of the no sun thing here on my end. Your meal looks delicious.
