Campaign 2017
Good Morning!

Sunday, May 20, 2012

Not a lot of pictures today.  Started off the morning with Ulphi's fruit salad and cottage cheese.  So good.
Last night Gary, the dogs and I were in sleep mode for hours.
Am getting better with pain management...Can't wait to be able to take a shower!  Yuck.
Today I had lots of visitors and Sally brought up dinner...spinach quiche and salad.  We are getting very spoiled.  Warm here....Gar said the gardens need rain.
Time to get back in my zone....these meds are no fun (Brett, I am plugging away at the assigned therapy and the PT will be here tomorrow.  No bruising and not too much swelling.  Ice is my friend).
Over and out.

  1. Ice is the friend of many injured souls...yes use it and heal so much faster. Rest is so important for you as well...take full advantage of this time to get stronger!Ron

  2. The fruit salad looks so good! We finally got some rain last night. So thankful for that. Keep the ice on.

  3. So nice that you have such good friends that help out with food and all.

It's still early in recovery so there's lots of pain. Ice is a wonderful thing. Hang in there it will get better with therapy, ice and massages.

  4. rest & recover!

  5. Hope you heal quickly, that the pt goes well and you are soon back to doing the things you love. Glad that you are surrounded by so many loving, helping, hands.

  6. I'm so glad you got the pain meds worked out. I was worried about that.

  7. Amazing that a simple shower and cooking your own wonderful meals can seem so elusive. You have such wonderful friends and family to help you return to real life. Get better!!

  8. I hope they get you a happy match with the pain meds. That will help so much.

Thank you for reading The Skoog Farm Journal. I do not have google+ and am unable to comment on those blogs. Would love to reach some of you and need email addresses. Your comments are appreciated.
