Flowers are back in the house....a good sign.
 Another pony siting this morning.

I have taken over the feeding of the cats and dogs...can do laundry and a couple things around the kitchen.
Tonight Jenny came up with some pizza from Ralph and Rosie's.  I made a salad and it tasted like old times.
Gary had already fed the horses, and after dinner Jenny went out to soak Abbe.
Of course the camera went along and I have no idea who took what shot.

Does this girl cooperate or what?

Hey Tina, we have our first "pony" blossom.

The kids sure had a good time at your pool today.  The first thing I am going to ask the doctor (Wednesday) is when I can start swimming.

It was 93 and very muggy here today.  Had to get the fans out.
Time to put on pjs and go sit in front of one.
Night all.

  1. You sure do have some good help with the blog : ) I loved all these shots. They about covered it didn't they? Really nice!

  2. Great photos and so good you are up, and seeing the great outdoors again. The tall green veges, are they the leeks we saw planted a while ago? They are huge!!Cheers from Jean

  3. Sounds like you are on the mend, Lorie... I'm glad. Your pictures (or someone's pictures!) were great, as usual!

  4. 78 degrees here today. I'm glad you are able to get up and do a few things. Just make sure you don't overdo it. Great pictures by Jen and crew -- I can't believe how beautiful Gary's garlic looks. I'm jealous!!

  5. 93? Wow! That's really warm!
Hmmm, I'm thinking that soaking is a good thing. You can soak in the pool while Abbe soaks in the tub....unless you want to invite her into the pool!

  6. Sounds like you're getting stronger each day. My best knee therapy was swimming or doing water aerobics. Start as soon as you can.

  7. Ooh, those lush irises! And what cute pics of the boys . . .isn't it fun to see what someone else chooses to photograph for a change?

  8. Looks like you are doing fine on your own -- good show! See you in several weeks -- we are off to Ireland -- hugs.

  9. Lori....may I have copies of Iris #1 and Iris #2. They look like the ones in my yard.

Thank you for reading The Skoog Farm Journal. I do not have google+ and am unable to comment on those blogs. Would love to reach some of you and need email addresses. Your comments are appreciated.
