Crispy and a little windy at chore time.
Gucci had her meds before I went out, and by the time I got back in the house she was a little more alert. Even let me brush her.
I made her some special food to encourage eating. Ground beef, rice and peas.
She liked that.
There was a lot of activity out back today. They were moving dirt all over the place.
I took the dogs out in the back yard for awhile. Gucci did her business and was ready to go back in the house. Her respiration rate is higher than normal, but she does not pant.
I mowed the lawn and while I was on the lawn tractor, headed down the lane to get a better view of what's going on. They dug a large pond behind the house.
I mow all around the pastures, so this is the view from behind the back pasture (which is in front of the house being built).
I took Gucci out again, but she did not want to go far.
Was out there just long enough to do her business....again.
Around 3:30 a vet came out to the farm to do some chiropractic work on Angel and Maggie.
She was outstanding!!!! and you could see that the horses were really responding.
Sidney was in his chair on the porch (the barn he shares with Gary) when I went back to the house.
Out again and very little walking around.
Chores at 7. What a beautiful evening.
Tucked the girls in...what a difference when the weather is so nice.
So glad I don't have to do anything outrageous tonight or tomorrow.
Gary made delicious veggie burgers for dinner and I threw together some coleslaw made
with red cabbage. So good.
Now I am off to check on my pup.
