“To me, photography is an art of observation. It’s about finding something interesting in an ordinary place… I’ve found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.” — Elliott Erwitt

It's All About Gucci

Crispy and a little windy at chore time.

Gucci had her meds before I went out, and by the time I got back in the house she was a little more alert.  Even let me brush her.
I made her some special food to encourage eating.  Ground beef, rice and peas.
She liked that.
There was a lot of activity out back today.  They were moving dirt all over the place.
I took the dogs out in the back yard for awhile.  Gucci did her business and was ready to go back in the house.  Her respiration rate is higher than normal, but she does not pant.

I mowed the lawn and while I was on the lawn tractor, headed down the lane to get a better view of what's going on.  They dug a large pond behind the house.

I mow all around the pastures, so this is the view from behind the back pasture (which is in front of the house being built).

I took Gucci out again, but she did not want to go far.
Was out there just long enough to do her business....again.
Around 3:30 a vet came out to the farm to do some chiropractic work on Angel and Maggie.
She was outstanding!!!! and you could see that the horses were really responding.

Sidney was in his chair on the porch (the barn he shares with Gary) when I went back to the house.

Out again and very little walking around.

Chores at 7.  What a beautiful evening.
Tucked the girls in...what a difference when the weather is so nice.

So glad I don't have to do anything outrageous tonight or tomorrow.
Gary made delicious veggie burgers for dinner and I threw together some coleslaw made
with red cabbage.  So good.
Now I am off to check on my pup.
Night all.

  1. Your place looks beautiful. Hope Gucci feels better with her meds.

  2. I've been under the weather this week, and a couple of our pups have been too. But I've read your past posts, and am so sorry to read about Gucci, and hope that she's back to herself very, very soon!! Good vibes and prayers coming for her from our corner of VA!

  3. I'm sorry Gucci isn't quite herself again yet. I'm sure she is shaken but being home is sure to lift her spirits! Hope she's doing even better this morning!

  4. Thinking of you and Gucci again today. Hope she is on the mend.
