Thank You For Sending Warmer Air From Minnesota

Starting tomorrow, we will be in the mid 30s for several days!  This morning the temperature was 18 degrees but felt like 1.  Fortunately the sun was out most of the day so the horses were catching some solar rays.  A little after 6am I let Sidney and Little Wonder out and started shoveling.  We got about 4 inches of light fluff and I managed to do part of the driveway and a wide path to the front paddock.  I got in a lot of steps, that's for sure.  LW did not want to go out for morning chores when he found out how cold it was at 6am.

Seymour was in his place most of the morning.

By then I had taken 7,734 steps.  

Now I'm over 10,000.  It's all about shoveling.

Gary went to Brockport for yoga and lunch with his pals....I was not very productive.

Did get in some nap time.  Then chores.

I took some leftover stuffed shells out of the freezer and that made dinner a piece of cake.

I do believe the people who voted for t are going to start feeling it this week.  The wrecking ball is going crazy.  No mercy....for ANYONE!

 

The Wind Is Going to Get Wild Tonight

The temperature got up to about 34 today and the sun was brilliant....but the wind was very strong
and we could have winds up to 60 MPH tonight.  Other than chores, I went to Wegmans, picked up some grain and had a 2:30 appointment with the massage therapist.  I needed it.  Got home after 4 and was back out in the barn, tightening up all the doors in case it gets crazy.  Fortunately I had defrosted some vegetarian chili I had in the freezer and dinner was easy.

Magic colors in the sky tonight.  I was too lazy to get the sunrise this morning.

I was very sad that the Bill's lost to Kansas City.  Such a great team.

 

Half Time

Sunshine was the best part of the day so far.  Now, if the Bills could just beat Kansas City.  The temperature was  little over 32 today....felt pretty good.  After chores I went to Wegmans and bought a ton of stuff for a back up pantry before they jack the prices.  Then I did a lot of laundry and changed sheets before taking it easy.  Dinner was the exact replay of last night and now I'm going back out to watch the second half.  Thank you blogging friends, for your supportive comments.  Somehow we have to rally and kick some ass.
