Almost 60 degrees this morning...and another gorgeous day.
As per usual, the Town Trucks were here picking up our brush by 7:30. They always do a great job cleaning up after they finish.
Little Wonder got an awful lot of attention today. It started with Gary.
Alice arrived at 10. Scott was here and he and Gary left to pick up some more lumber for a couple more raised beds. What's enough?
The boys saw us and walked right by...through their barn run-in. We thought they were in the outdoor arena (they weren't)...
and they were waiting for us at the grooming room.
Little Wonder would not leave Alice alone.
Both boys had rolled and needed a good brushing. Their winter coats are starting to come in and they look so soft.
My friend Jean C. is in town from St. Charles so we made arrangements to go out to lunch at Barber's. We enjoyed our big salads outside and then went back to the farm to make some music. She also has a baritone uke and brings it with her when she comes to town.
Evening chores at 6:30. Still nice and warm outside.
Leftover Mac and cheese for dinner with a quick cucumber/tomato salad.
Night all.

My mules need a spa day! Anyone want to come and pull gobs of burrs???
Seriously, the horses sure seem to enjoy their spa days.
Nice of the town to pick up brush.
We just pile ours in the woods.
Those boys obviously enjoy their spa day! So does LW. More raised beds? Gary is the energizer bunny.
