All Over The Place

We are still on a cool roll.

Waking up to sun flowers on the kitchen table is the way to go.

Once again, the boys were in the pasture when I went out to do chores.

When Gary got home from coffee I went over to a friends house to pick some peaches.
Their veggie gardens are amazing and they have so many fruit trees.

After that I went to Wegmans, then started on a peach crostata.

This afternoon Little Wonder and I watched a great movie about competitive rowing.

Then we tried out the peach crostata with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.  Dessert before dinner.

How's this for a garbage plate?  Italian sausage with peppers and onions, a tomato/cumber salad and leftover bean salad.  PLENTY of veggies!
Chores at 7.  The boys have not worn masks for the past few days and they like it that way.

Spa day with Alice tomorrow.  They will be happy campers.
Night all.

A big PS.....
Sabine sent many photos.  She and her Mom went to their version of Summer Serenades at the Seaside in Germany.

Sabine had given Gary a shirt with MOIN written on it.  This sign explains all the ways that word is used.  Do you know what they mean?

Stephanie made it to the University of Wisconsin for the weekend as Daniela has now moved there for her job.  Finishing her Masters degree online and will be one busy girl.
Her furniture will not arrive from Florida for a couple of days, and fortunately they had 2 blow up mattresses to sleep on.

There are all kinds of restaurants in her neighborhood.
Steph found this mirror for 5 bucks in a second hand store.  Love it.  They are having fun getting things in order.  Can't wait to see it all furnished.

Sunflowers

Still cool and gorgeous.

In the 40s this morning.

The return of the stink eye!!!

Our sunflowers are going crazy....so many bees!

This morning Gary went down to Jen's to work on the patio.  Looks good!
While he was gone, our friend Al stopped up with some wood scraps from his bird carving class and I sent him home with tomatoes and garlic.
Made a trip to Wegmans and got a few things, then
Little Wonder and I did a little crashing this afternoon.
Giant salads for dinner tonight.  Grilled chicken, pears, apples, craisins, walnuts and Feta cheese.
I have been doing chores earlier lately.

Buddy and Rebel don't care....they end up in the pastures anyway.

This sunflower is over 7 feet tall and is so heavy it fell over.  Now it is tied to two of the porch posts.

Night all.
