I finally had to give up on Rebel's flowers and picked a few from our kitchen garden.
Little Wonder and I started off the day doing the usual.
In the past 24 hours we had 5.10 inches of rain. While I was still in my PJs I ran out to the barn to make sure no water got in and ruined the hay that is waiting to be picked up for Buddy. Fortunately it was ok.
We had a lake.....
and this time it went all along the north fence too.
Gary had a couple of appointments this morning..
and when he got home I made a quick trip to Wegmans.
Eventually I got off my butt and made a banana cream pie.
It was in the high 30s much of the day and tomorrow we should hit 60....with more rain.

So many of our friends had serious damage. A couple lost their furnaces when their basements flooded. The Fire Department and Highway Department helped pump out water. What a mess.
