Boy, do we need rain. The tomato plants are over 3 feet high and are getting droopy.
We had a reasonable cool down last night, so this morning was not too bad.
The veggie gardens have grown like crazy, but they needed a drink today. It takes Gary an hour and a half to do everything with a hose (nice spray on the end).
There were 4 green peppers ready and the cabbage will probably be next.
Little Wonder got a ride in the car as I made a quick trip to Brockport. Tomorrow he is getting a haircut and just might feel a little cooler.
Sandra....this one is for you. Today I found our second Brueur chair in Gary's barn and brought it up to the house for some cleaning. The stitching in the back strap needs to be repaired ...hopefully I can find a place somewhere in Rochester. I did a little research so I could make sure they are originals and they passed the test. They cost a fortune today, so I am willing to invest in a repair. Both need a good cleaning with saddle soap and conditioner. We bought them from a friend who was getting a divorce in 1980 and who knows how long he had them. It was quite a deal. Pretty neat that you have one too.
Dinner was delicious! Greens, peppers, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, bacon, feta cheese and homemade croutons.
Served it with bread made by my friend Carina.
I could eat this every night.
Tucked in the boys at 8:15. Fortunately the barn felt pretty good tonight.
Night all.

You may have our rain. We have have about 4 or 5 days this spring and summer without rain. Our land is saturated, any rain we get now runs off.
I'll try and send some your way!
Your friend knows how to make a loaf!! Two of them, wow. I bought mine decades ago and it was expensive but nothing like they now cost. It's really comfortable for my back. They don't look comfy, but they are. It's worth fixing.
We've had a lot of rain so it's humid. I got everything planted so late I'm not sure I will get much. A deer seems to have eaten the zucchini plant.
