In the high 30s this morning, but the bright sunshine took care of that. I think our high was around 57 this afternoon.
While I was out at the barn, Seymour climbed up to the rafters under the shed roof.
The horses were happy to be out in the smaller pastures as the grass has had a chance to grow.
Gary got all of the onions planted yesterday...about 500.
The rhubarb is going crazy and I hope to be making a pie in the next 10 days. Annette (from Oak Creek Ranch in California) beat me to it.
The raspberry bushes were really pruned and have come back like gangbusters. There are enough runners to plant a second row.
At 8:30 the dogs barked when someone drove in the driveway. It was my friend Judy, who is up here for a few days (from Florida). In my barn clothes, we went down to the Bergen Diner for pancakes and took along our own maple syrup. (Judy has done this before, and we just happened to have a new quart).
As soon as we got back to the farm the dogs and I went down to Wegmans to get a few things.
When I open the hatch, this is what I see.
At 1pm we were at Chapel Oaks for a chorus performance.
The audience is always great here and we were decent.
We had a little press in a local newspaper as we are going to have our annual concert on the 16th.
Home around three and planned to mow the lawn. It never happened. Instead, I did laundry and made potato salad (after I went across the street to get some fresh eggs from Paula).
Chores at 6:30.
4 piggies....
Picnic supper. Uncured hot dogs on fresh Italian rolls and the potato salad.
Two more performances and 1 rehearsal to go.
Night all.

Busy, busy, busy. Enjoy that rhubarb pie!
I'll say it again I don't know where you get your energy from!
Love the picture of your little pooch looking at you from the back seat.
You are so busy, looks like you will have a wonderful garden. And it is so much fun to see all your critters enjoying their lives.
Every week is a busy week at Skoog!
500 onions! Gary must be tired.
