The sunrise was not quite as dramatic today.
Late morning I ran a whole bunch of errands and spent the afternoon doing nothing or talking on the phone.
Tonight we went to Jenny's for an early dinner so she would not have to cook after campaigning all afternoon.
Have I got a story for you.
This morning I ordered 2 pizzas for 5pm. It was a special...2 large with cheese for $18.99 (plus extra for toppings). One - half pepperoni/half cheese. The other - mushrooms and peppers. Great! Got there and instead of peppers, they put on pepperoni. I did not have time for them to make another and said I would just have to take them. The man behind me said you should be compensated for the mistake. So I asked. They said they would just give me a refund. My original bill was around 28 dollars. They gave me back 22. I said ....no, you're kind enough to give me the refund, but that's too much. He said I already posted the refund....it's ok. SO, I got two large pizzas with toppings for 6 bucks!!!Happy Halloween!!!!
My first time having pizza from a restaurant and boy it tasted so good.
This guy was waiting for some crust.
While it was still light, kids started trick or treating in the neighborhood and Jenny was prepared.
Before we left, I was impressed by this bunch of bananas!

They deserve more customers after that gracious refund. Trick or treat, I don't do that down here, ages ago when we lived with a very long driveway some young girls walked to our home in almost dark , I wondered what their parents thought, and was it safe at other homes? Everyone up north does celebrate with wonderful fashion.Enjoy more pizzas !!!
Yes, that restaurant deserves more of your business. I'm so happy to be back on standard time. I wish it stayed this way all year.
