Traveling With Jenny and Sabine

Sunny and muggy.  This morning I thought LW was supposed to get his rabies shot down at the Rec Center so we jumped in the car, got there and it was the wrong day.  Next Saturday.  Oh well, he enjoyed the ride.

We stopped at the bank (drive thru) on the way home.  I managed to do some laundry....changed sheets and mowed the lawn.  Also did the outdoor arena and the front paddock.  It took forever.

But... it looked nice and was worth the effort.
I noticed that we had some red tomatoes so
Gary went out and picked a few.
I did not get off the lawn tractor until after 5:30 and passed on making dinner.  We went to 58 Main.  I had meatloaf and a salad.
Gary had broiled fish and coleslaw.
I took a picture of this bush (?) that was outside the restaurant.  Does anyone know what it is?  I would love to have some of these.  About 4 feet high and huge.
Off duty.....except for reporting on the adventures of Jenny and Sabine.
They started off this morning with some coffee.
This is Bine's cat.
Then they picked up her van and
checked on a couple ponies who live in the pasture Sabine rents.

I'm pretty sure they will be spending a lot of time near the water.

Eventually they were able to retrieve Jenny's lost luggage and they had a nice dinner in Hamburg.
What do you think is on that plate????

They also visited Sabines horse.  Such a beautiful girl!

About now they should be sound asleep..
Night all.

I took a screen shot, used Google Lens, identify this plant? It is Threadleaf Bluestar or Amsonia Hubrichtii,,, how easy was that, from your place to down here and back again !!!! Love that mane, or is it an extra long fringe??

I miss having Google Translate on your page, is it possible for you to add it... I really enjoy reading you, you always have so many nice things to show.
Wishing you a lovely Sunday, Andreja!

Wow, now there are some beautiful horses! I cannot imagine trying to keep that mane from getting tangled up!
That is a pretty plant but I don't know what it is. I think Nancy J may have found the answer!

Did LW get a treat at the drive thru? Looks like Jenny & Sabine had schnitzel, lingonberry jam, warm potato salad and a cucumber salad?? I would bet the little bundle is lemon.

Nancy....the horse has a very long mane and forelock..

I think you might be right!

Thanks! I will have to try and find this!

The forelock would be good for keeping the flies away from the face.. It's a wonderful thing to have stayed in contact with Sabine for all these years.

I added translate. Hope it works!
