In the 20s This Morning

What a beautiful day.  When I went out for morning chores the water trough had ice in it and it was very cold.  Put sheets back on the boys and ended up taking them off later when the temperature ended up at 65.

Rebel went behind the grooming room
and Buddy preferred the front paddock.

Eventually they ended up together.

It was so nice I went back out and picked anything I could see in the pasture and indoor.

I had ordered two loaves of Challah bread and a dozen eggs from Heritage Bell Farm and picked everything up at 4.  A very nice option for our community.  Karina is an amazing baker.
Little Wonder rode over with me.
Gary had yoga and lunch with the geezers today.  Our dinner was an instant replay from last night.
I watched the astronauts landing and can't even believe this is possible.
Impressed with what can be done....but I'm not sure how I feel about the space program. It's amazing, and all who have worked on it are brilliant, but I don't see us actually living on another planet.  And very few could afford space travel, tho EM stated that he wants to go to Mars in 2026.  Why?
Chores at 7:15.  I had brushed the horses earlier, so they were not muddy tonight.

The temperature had dropped and the barn was cold so they are back in their PJs.

Night all.

I marvel at the capability of scientists to manage the world travels, and returns. A safe landing was the icing.Getting cooler down here, and am lighting the fire occasionally, unheard of for March.

I haven't even turned on the news the past few days, but have been checking the weather.
We can have 1 to 5 inches of snow, or a lot of rain and thunder and a lot of high winds.
I'm happy the astronauts got back safely!

I'm glad they are back safely too. 74 at noon here today. Enjoy your challah.

If EM wants to go to Mars he should pay for it himself. Challah really good. We missed the rain snow that was predicted for today. We could use the moisture.
