In the 30s this morning with a frost warning last night and one for tonight too.
This morning one of the hibiscus plants popped out it's first bloom since moving inside.
Scott and Megan organized all of their stuff and
did some book signing before they left for Montreal.
When they left I made lunch and after 12:30 I remembered that I was supposed to go to bridge today (1pm). I had no time to take a shower and wore my barn clothes. Skip was my partner and we came in first. Home a little after 4:30 and the sun was doing it's thing coming in through the west windows.
I picked up a couple of slices of pizza for dinner as I was totally our of gas and did not want to make anything.
Just before chores, our friend Doc Edwards dropped off some fried cakes and half a gallon of the best cider (Apple Crisp) I have ever tasted. He was on his way home from DC and stopped at a farm market that makes the very best donuts. So generous and so good.
The boys were waiting for their diner...it was almost dark.
The moon was putting on quite a show.
Now it's time to kick back and do nothing.
Night all.

I hear you about being tired, I am just now starting to feel alive again. Rest up and have a great weekend.
I didn't feel like cooking yesterday, either. Unlike you, I had no reason! You are due for a bit of down time. Guests wear me out.
