After chores Phoebe and I went on a hay hunt. We hit 3 places.
Two had hay down and one had it on a huge truck.
I picked up two bales and stashed them in the back of my Escape.
Made a nice mess. Karen is almost out of hay, so we are hoping to get some for her soon.
Seeing that I was in the neighborhood, I decided to take a dip in Tina's pool.
It was about 84 degrees and felt SO good. I did not go to Agape and used this as
an alternative.
As usual, all the gardens were quite spectacular.
Did a couple things when I got back to the farm (stopped at Wegmans on the way home) and then I started on dinner. I was determined to make taco salads (meatless) as the ones we had last night at Linda's were off the charts.
So first....greens topped with leftover homemade bean salad...
then, sour cream and tomatoes....
black olives....
Catalina dressing and salsa....
and finally....a spoon full of guacamole and crushed corn chips.
You had to be here.
Touched base with Karen about the hay...
and now, even tho it is still early, I want to close my eyes and take a nap.
Night all.

I was just watching them bale the hay at the hayfield behind the house. Love the smell of fresh cut fields.
The dip in the pool sounds refreshing!
There is a lot of hay making going on around here, the field here are full of round bales and small square hay wagons.
