Our good friends, Jack and Louise, invited us out to lunch this afternoon so we went for a nice ride over to Pittsford, New York. Along the Erie Canal is Schoen Place, full of quaint shops and restaurants. After eating at the Coal Tower (great food, creative menu) we went for a stroll along the canal and visited a shop where I could not resist buying a pair of red Crocs. Now I can be part of the club. Many people were out today...many were walking dogs. Across the canal we could see the new Pittsford Library, so we took a ride over only to discover a Jazz Quartet playing some fine music. What an ideal setting...next to the water, a library packed with people of all ages in a variety of inviting cubbies, good music, and a bonus.... Bruegger's Bagels shared the same hall with the library. Someone was thinking......
