Marti's On Main

What a weird day.  In the 40s with brilliant sunshine, hail and heavy rain.

We had a very relaxed morning.....

and at noon headed for Albion to attend a 16th Anniversary celebration at a friend's gallery.
Many years ago my student's had a couple of shows there.

As per usual, we were greeted by all kinds of goodies.

Kim and Neal, the owners, put a lot of work into this building and I absolutely love this room.

Of course I was drawn to these three masterpieces.

The photo below was taken at a bad angle but it was my favorite painting!

Gary fell in love with this one and bought it.
Met some new people and could not believe the connections we had.  A fun afternoon.
Now we have a fire going and are back in the "winter feeling" groove.
Night all.

The polished slab with goodies, that is superb. The paintings, I can see the one Gary chose on your wall already. Parts of NZ have had deluges, Wellington most of all, severe flooding, one man missing after his home was flooded, cars washed away. Where does it all come from??? We are safe where we live.

Neither you nor I have plain walls!!Now to find the perfect place for Gary's purchase. I could move into the gallery.

My walls are pretty bare, I just need to put up my photos and artworks!
What a beautiful place.
