Just another cozy day on the farm....
Buddy and Rebel still wanted to be outside and they made it until 4:30.
By10:30 this morning the cold water pipe to the kitchen sink was frozen, tho it was fine at 8am. The wind did it in and the sub zero temperatures did not help. My trusty hair dryer eventually opened it up again. At 11 I went out with some warm water to put the boys back in their suites... but didn't, as they were happy to keep eating their hay behind the grooming room. I dumped the water into the water trough....the sun came out and I made a quick trip to Brockport. All I wanted to do was hang out by the fire.
Little Wonder
and Sidney joined me.
Chores at 4:45. The boys had been out in frigid temperatures long enough.
I did not even start on dinner until I got back in the house, Chicken cutlets topped with duck sauce and honey mustard....
and lomain with peas.
yum.....
Right now the temperature is 7 and it feels like -5. We need to catch a break.
Night all.

Seems the winters are a bit more crazy these past few years. We stayed above zero for the first time in a week overnight! Only 3 or 4 degrees, but dang, it felt warm out with Charlie this morning [no wind].
Stay bundled up there and stay warm!
Your attire looks vaguely familiar to me! It's warming up next week. Dinner looks good.
We still have last Sunday's sugar snow that been frozen hard since Monday and our "high" temperatures haven't reached 32*F by a long shot. M-T-W of the coming week should be above freezing so I hope it all melts away! Wish the Arctic temps would stay in the Arctic!
Stay warm!
Hugs!
