Grey all day, in the 60s with a little spritzing.
After chores Jenny and Scott stopped in to check out the John Deeres to see what was needed to get them running properly.....then I drove down to the Farm market. I passed Capon Hose, where they were recognizing 9/11.
After buying some prunes and apples I checked in with my buddies, who were running the voter registration booth.
On the way home I stopped at Wegmans to pick up what I will need for bridge tomorrow.
The conditions were perfect for reading, so I made some real progress on my book this afternoon. Little Wonder kept me company.
I had all the makings for a veggie stirfiry and started on that before doing evening chores.
First the lomain..... boiled it until it was just about ready, then turned it off and put the lid on so it would absorb all the liquid.
Janet and I had everything set in the barn and I went out to call the ponies.
All tucked in.
When I got back in the house I added some frozen peas to the lomain and
started on the stirfry.
(the celery and onions were from our garden)
(so was the summer squash)
I finished it off with a sweet and sour sauce and threw on some sesame seeds. Of course I had to have bananas on the side. Yum.
Night all.

Dinner looks good. I wish I could cup LW's head in my hands and smooch all over him!
