These grey days do not inspire me.
The temperature was a little higher this morning, so the ground was not as frozen into deep footprints.
However, the ice I had removed from the water trough yesterday and the day before, was still right where I left it.
The run-in by the stalls is all nicely bedded with old hay for the winter.
Before going back in the house, I took off all the blankets,
as the temperature went up to 50 or so with a little spitting rain off and on.
Gary planted these bulbs a very short time ago and
we will have blossoms in a couple more days. Never saw anything grow so fast.
We are babysitting five of Mary's poinsettias as we want them for our swearing in ceremony on January 3rd.
I did not get down to
Agape until 10:45. They have a few decorations inside.
Once again, 25 minutes on the bike and 20 minutes on the elliptical.
I read for awhile after lunch and it worked just like a sleeping pill!
Gary went down to Agape and I finally got up and made the Vordags (Swedish cookies)
that Coop put together last night. He made them into rolls/logs, which I wrapped and kept in the frig overnight. Could not slice them until they got down to room temperature. Now we have an entire bowl full for the holidays.
I made a great dinner and took a lousy photo.
Baked sweet potatoes, BBQued Chicken, roasted brussells sprouts (from our garden)
and a carrot, apple, grape and craisin salad.
How about some advise. The photographer who took our campaign photos is going to have this one printed. Would you do it in color or black and white?
Over and out.
Night all.

Congratulations for keeping up with the exercise. Where do you find the time?
I think I like the in color picture better but they're both nice so you can't lose with whichever you choose.
Those cookies look very tasty!
I choose the one with colour, a red ribbon and your beautiful blonde hair.
Color for sure! Your life is a very colorful one and I think that should be represented! The grey gross weather is no good for my mood either.
I really like the colored picture as well. I'm in total agreement with you about the grey days, which is what we've had this entire month of December. Record-breaking amounts of rain, and yesterday high winds, flooding, downed trees, landslides, people being displaced from their homes. We are fortunate, we just have pools here and there, and lots of mud. I hope you have a wonderful Christmas!
I think I would have it in colour. It is a lovely picture!
Definitely color! I read your blog everyday, it's like being part of a family Merry Christmas!
Color!
