GLEN ABERLOUR BEFORE WORK....
Today Roy came over to help me with Abbe. We worked on her perception of my body language and did some desensitizing. The cart was placed in the ring, and we worked with a ball and umbrella. She walked next to, behind and in front of the cart, and even walked into the shafts from the front. Not too excited about having poles on either side of her, but we ended on a good note. She and I learned a lot.

Looks like fun. We had similar experience today. I was invited to join with Winnie on another horse training session, and we used an umbrella and Winnie couldn't care less about it. Then small tarp over the body and head, and after first time, again didn't care, she thought it was a game.
We then worked on some ground manners and some small issues Kim saw her starting up with us. I learned quick that it was due to Winnie realizing what she could get away with, with us (inexperience) and not bad habits. She picked up very quickly, and "we established boundries". Her reward was what she wanted, let her rip around the arena followed by water and carrots.
