6AM
The view from the kitchen door. Sunny and much cooler with low humidity...rain on the way this afternoon. I don't know how the farmers around here are ever going to get their hay in.
That's quite a view. We need to trade weather for a few days. :-D
BTW, I enjoyed the images of your art you emailed a while back. I got a new computer and the images are still on the old one, but I remember the good energy of your work.
What do they get for hay in your area? My local paper says a round bale weighing 700-750 (and netted) is $75. Other ads list 60-65 pound bale for $8.50-$9.00. For the latter bales my husband would have to detour about 8 miles out and 8 back so he stops at the feed store along the way, but they charge over $11 per bale. Needless to say, piggy goats don't get their fill, just a snack. (I really need to get the large round bale, but have no where dry to store it at this point in time. Oh, and lovely photos as always! :) (Next time I'm at the store I'll take a look at prices...I haven't forgotten!).
