Today the weather was so so....sunny, muggy, warmish.
Look at the tail on this boy....the most beautiful I've ever had in the barn.
After chores I went out to the kitchen garden. We have a sunflower over 10 feet tall....
picked two green peppers...
and check out the tomatoes...between 4 and 5 feet tall.
It was bridge day at the library and I could not stop yawning....really needed a nap. On the way home the bridge went up to let a big cruiser get through to the Welcome Center.
I had to drop Gary off there at 5:15 and did not go back down for the concert until after chores.
Fortunately, the weather was good enough to have it outside.
Gary and the Zelda girls sure do a good job with Summer Serenades.
Hanna PK was her usual cool self and the audience loved her.
Home before dark.
Night all.
PS
Tomorrow our driveway is going to be paved....on the hottest day of the year.
The heat is all up north, guess the pavers will set very quickly. lots of snow down here, the ski fields are very happy.
ReplyDeleteThose poor pavers. Another busy day for you and Gary.
ReplyDeleteGood for the driveway and I hope the guys take plenty of water breaks. Must be driveway season...ours is getting a rehab soon!
