Perfect weather to start working on the barn roof.
After chores I started working on the Studio so we can use it for our practice tomorrow. As soon as I got out there, Jason, Mike and Kevin arrived to start working on the barn. Jason drove the lift out back.
After a few glitches (the ground was soft from last nights rain), they had finished unloading the trailer...
and were able to start. The horses were curious.
I put in about three hours at the Studio and got rid got rid of two chairs, a table and the little bed the dogs used to sleep on.
Now we have so much more room for our rehearsals.
I checked on the roof progress a couple of times.
Look at that rhubarb! It's growing like crazy.
and the garlic is 6 or 7 inches high.
Sophie was loving the sunshine late afternoon....
so was Little Wonder.
They got the bottom half of the East side all finished before 5 and will be on the job early in the morning. Who knows, maybe they will even start putting on the metal.
The temperature (60s today) was still great at evening chore time.
Comfort food for dinner. Beans, Franks and a salad.
Tired.
Night all.
Dear Lori, seeing pictures of the barn roof being done is fascinating to me. That kind of roof must require real skill to cover. And as usual, the photographs of the dogs and the cat and the horses--and the video also--just show how much you love animals and how close to nature you are. I look forward to some video of you and the band rehearsing! Peace.
