72 Degrees This Afternoon

There was a thin coat of ice on the water trough this morning, but by mid afternoon that changed.

I had to put Rebel and Seamus in the smaller pasture as a HUGE lift was being delivered today so they can start working on the roof for the horse barn tomorrow.

After chores I raked the indoor and spent some time cutting down tall grasses in the middle of the driveway garden.  There are so many tulips and daffodils in that area.
This is the lift!

By then, it was time to take off the sheets so the ponies could get extra muddy....and enjoy the sunshine.

Little Wonder finally had a reason to pant.

This post card arrived in the mail today.  It's for the gig we have been rehearsing for.
At 3pm I had an appointment with the Massage Therapist and stopped at Wegmans on the way home.  Got things organized for dinner and went out to do evening chores.

We had grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and a fruit salad.  I should have left out the blueberries as they turned everything purple...but it tasted good.
Can't wait to see how long it's going to take to put roofs on two barns.
Night all.

  2. Wow, 72! Big change. Wonder looked like he was smiling. Your indoor is very nice. My barn was roofed in 2001 and it took a long time. BTW, your fruit salad looks good and lavender is a lovely color.
