We did have a few minutes of sunshine today...but it was pretty drab, windy and cold most of the time.

Gary continued planting garlic.  Over 1000 are in the ground.
We should have a major supply of strawberries next season.  They will be mulched soon.

We behaved for a few days with no dessert, so this afternoon I made

a chocolate pie.

With the time change I guess I will be going out to feed the horses around 5 now.
It was pretty dark when I got back to the house.

Breakfast for dinner.  It's all we felt like eating.
Night all.

  2. Hi Lori! I hope my comment shows up! :-)

What a day! I think you should indulge in that pie, and make one or two for Tuesday too! And I'll just add that chocolate pie is one of my very favorites. I will eat it right out of the pan before it's even chilled!

  3. Hey Kim! I wish you lived closer so we could share some chocolate pie, dog stories and a hot conversation about the political scene.
