Living In The Tundra...

Another bitter morning....so glad the sun was out.

Before noon it started blowing like crazy....probably -15 with the wind chill.

So I put the girls in.

Went down to Country Max for some grain and picked up some cartridges for my printer.  Other than that, I vegged as usual.
Took apart the flower arrangement Tina sent home with me after the show.
Adds a little lift to the joint.

There was a fire going all day...
and Gucci sat with me for much of the afternoon.  She likes to be on her back so her tummy can be rubbed.

Turned the horses out around 4:30 so Karen and I could pick the stalls and set up dinner.

 Not so windy tonight.

I made a pot of 16 bean soup for dinner...
along with a salad and leftover Johnny Cake.
Time for some hot tea.
Night all.

  1. I don't mind winter, but when the temps drop into the arctic range it gets a little unpleasant. Glad to see Gucci getting some tummy rubs :) You can always find me at: mkfarmchick104@gmail.com

  6. There's nothing like a good tummy rub! Lucky girl.

Looks as miserable there as it does here. Snowing and windy this morning here.
