The Sun Makes A Difference...

This morning started off with some snow.  The New York State Thruway was shut down from Rochester to the Pennsylvania line and many schools to the west were closed.
Around 9 the sun appeared and was an upper for the rest of the day.
The girls went into the indoor when the wind started ripping.

After chores I took a nice hot shower and put on some real clothes for a change.
Still low key...vegging with my critters.
Chores at 5.  I'm sure the girls were happy to get tucked in and out of the wind.
 Leftover 16 bean soup
another Johnny Cake and a carrot/apple/grape/craisin salad.
Can't wait until I feel like getting back in my normal groove.
Night all.

  1. Same weather here today. Snow in the morning then sunny later on. Had to cancel Maggie's dog grooming appt. the roads were terrible. You've got to start feeling better soon. I can't believe you've had this since Christmas! Enough already. Feel better.

  4. Lori, when you've been through such a physical ordeal, you feel as though you'll never get back to normal again. But I'm sure you will and I'm glad you're a bit better already.

  5. Wicked winds and cold temps roared through here with some blinding snow. But I can say that the sun will shine today and the temps may moderate a bit.
I'm so glad that you are starting a bit to feel better.
AND that Gucci is doing well.
