A few days ago Roger and Tina decided to take a drive to Lockport.
Their first stop was the Shamus Restaurant, where they enjoyed a leisurely lunch. From there, they headed over to the Market Street Art Center. Why?
Because our mutual friend (Brenda, the watercolorist married to the carver, from the monthly dinner get together group) had a piece in the current show.
This painting was used on the poster and postcards advertising the show.
The building housed a shop and numerous studios.
There was all kinds of activity....many things to see.
The Erie Canal passed nearby....the classic stone building below sat next to it, and will open as a gallery in a few weeks.
When it does, I see a trip to Lockport in my future.
