I VOTED TODAY....

It was pretty cold this morning.  While it was still dark I could here all of the equipment moving down the lane....there is still a lot of corn out there that needed to be picked up.

The paddock was going to be the best place for the horses to eat their hay...quiet.

All of this loud movement had the deer running and the horses curious.

For some reason, they did not work out there for very long...still many acres to go.

It was in the high 20s, so the kittens and pups were happy to hang out in the house.

At 2, my class arrived.  I didn't put the heat on soon enough and it took awhile for it to get warm.  Won't let that happen again.

Donna continued to work with paper folding.

Jean started on an acrylic painting.

I worked with Pauline on colored pencil techniques.

Sandy was back today, working on her drawing.

Jean's painting went through many changes...

Tina worked on a new drawing of a sweet puppy.

After everyone left, I went down to vote.  The turnout was higher than normal for that time of day.

When I got home, everything was glowing with that late afternoon light.

Barb had chore duty tonight... I vegged in front of the fire... Gary had a meeting.

Now, I need to tune into the election results.
Night all.

So far, so good!  Congratulations to Cuomo, Duffy, Gillibrand, Morelle and Bronson (great job Jenny)...Slaughter and Schumer too.  Some changes are in our future...let's see what happens.

(Cuomo speaking at a Rally in Rochester, New York last Saturday).

  3. Your class is very talented--As I said before, I really admire that talent!

We voted as well here in Virginia--And just when we thought it was over, now comes the next 2 years leading up to the presidential election...

  6. hi Lori, thanks for your comments back at my place Your blog always warms my heart, such a sense of family. All I feel now is tremendous loss, almost blackness. My mom and I were always close, and I spent much of the last year making sure she was okay in a nursing home. Thank you again. and for your friendship
