GOOD MORNING... OR WHAT A DIFFERENCE A DAY MAKES.

It was in the 20s this morning.  Almost 35 degrees colder than yesterday....bright and NO rain.
When I went out to the barn, it just kept getting better.

Look at L'orange.  He is no longer a scruffy, lost boy.  Several months ago he picked out our barn for his new home and we started feeding him.  Very sweet and friendly...he had to have lived somewhere with people.

Seymour and Sid are very interested in him and they have started to play.

Even tho it was chilly, the sun was keeping the pups warm.

More to come later.....

Those of you who know me, know how much I like Twinkie Lights.  I have them in an archway between the living room and library, around the top of the dining room, under the kitchen cupboards and on a branch hanging over a table in the kitchen (which I decorate with ornaments in mid December).  I put the lights on at Christmastime and occasionally if we are having company.  Several years ago I made a wreath out of vines found around the farm, and today I dragged it out.  It's a very sweet light and is the extent of our outside decorations...  I love the way it looks when I go out for evening chores.  A little early....but Finn and Coop will like it when they come for Thanksgiving dinner.

It never went above the mid 30s today...but it was a beauty.

L'orange was waiting for me when I put the horses in.  He finally found a safe spot on the top of some shelves we have in by the stalls.  The dogs did not even know he was there.

For some reason, I am very sleepy tonight and am going to call it a day.  Made some cranberry sauce and cranberry orange relish this afternoon.  Other than that, I have to get crackin' in the morning after chores so I can make a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner....and take pictures of it.

I WISH YOU ALL A HAPPY THANKSGIVING.  STAY WARM.

Night all.
