Another beauty. Gary and Jen were volunteers for a garden tour that was a fundraiser for the library. I stayed home, mowed the lawn, and watched a movie. Got a call from
my hay guy and checked it out. Beautiful grass.
Little Wonder slept through the movie.
Gary got home around 4:30 and we were invited to go back to Joe's (where Gary was hosting for the garden tour) as he invited several friends over for homemade pizza. No one makes it better! The house next to his was also part of the tour and we stoped there first to drop off some garlic.
Joe was very happy to also get a bunch.
He knows his way around the kitchen and had prepared all kinds of appetizers before he started on the pizza.
I could not resist taking photos of his beautiful home.
As you might guess, he is a real artist in so many ways.
Fortunately, a good friend was there as his sous chef.
His house is a wild, painted lady on the outside. These are the back doors that lead out to his garden area.
He has art everywhere.
Eventually, it was time for the first pizza to come out of the oven.
Delicious! The best crust anywhere!
This is a basket of veggies we brought down for Joe.
The second pizza was Greek and made especially for Boo.
What a great bunch of game people. Check out these videos.
What a good time. What a great host!
Back home before evening chores. Rebel came in a little gimpy. Now what?
Night all.
You had me chair dancing! Joe knows how to handle a crust. I am so envious of where you live. People in this community are rather dour and uninviting. I miss a sense of community.
