The warmest it has been with some sunshine much of the day.
Rebel was still holding his own and I will have to change his boots tomorrow.
While I was doing chores, Gary worked on the doors in the indoor, so I can be sure they open and close easily.
The gardens in the front still look pretty good.
I put the tables where I wanted and added the tablecloths.
Meanwhile the ponies were going for some hay.
Seymour was sacked in the living room
Gary cut as many flowers as he could find so I could put them on the tables.
Little Wonder assisted.
Threw a couple of tarps on the ground in the indoor and Gary helped me get all my stuff over so I could be set up before Nancy, Tom and Greg arrived around 3:30. Little Wonder waited outside the open barn door for the longest time. Once we started warming up he came in and stayed by me for awhile. I had forgotten how great the acoustics are in the barn.
JW and the Bello event team arrived a little after 4, loaded with cider and donuts.
We started playing at 5 and
Jenny fed the horses for me.
This is the first time I have played my bass baritone uke in public. Just learning and it sure was fun.
Adam arrived around 5:30, mingled and spoke to us about all that is going on in Monroe County. He has done a great job. He stayed until the end and helped us clean up!
Once he finished speaking we played a few more songs and ended with....
So tired, and it was only a little after 7. I'd say it was a very successful event and it was so good to have Adam here on the Westside of Rochester. We had to go out and grab a sandwich for dinner as I had no time to cook.
Night all.
Wow! That took a ton of effort and energy to do.
