Damp. A little Rain. 50s.
Definately fallish.
Rebel was moving pretty well this morning, so I took off his boots to give him a break.
A friend was coming over with boots and pads so I thought I would wait to reboot him. She ended up canceling as one of her horses had a swollen eye so I just left him barefoot all day.
While I was doing some stuff in the pasture with the lawn tractor Buddy and Rebel went back under the shed roof for hay. Rebel was still looking pretty good.
At 10:30 Nolan's arrived to pick up the tables, chairs and tablecloths. The ponies have their indoor back.
I was hungry at lunch time and had a bagel and fried egg. Just right with a small glass of OJ.
I went out to pick some apples and threw some in the pasture for the boys.
By then it was late afternoon and Rebel was still moving well.
Chores at 6. I had already made a big crockpot of cabbage soup so dinner was going to be simple.
Rebel made it through the day without getting gimpy.
Got them tucked in and by the time I got back in the house the Apple Betty I had made was just about done. Forgot to take photos of our dinner....so good.
We have enough soup left for a couple more meals. Yay!
I am as stiff as a board between all the extra things we have been doing and the dampness is not helping. Will put my butt near the fire soon.
Night all.
