It's Still About the Fence

Gary and Finn worked for 6 hours yesterday and over 6 more hours today.   8 more boards still have to be put up and then I will run a rope line on the top that can be electrified.  It will look so much better.

The ponies were out on the pasture most of the time
and were very curious about the activity taking place in their paddock.

We had to be careful as there were times when there were no boards up and the horses kept visiting.
Can you see what a wreck the pickets were?

I kept running ropes here and there to make sure Rebel and Buddy could not walk out.

I did a little hand mowing and by late afternoon was ready for a nap.
Chores at 8.

Scrambled eggs and toast for dinner at 9.  A very busy day.
Night all.

  1. The new boards look great, and an easy dinner, great idea. We are having Shepherd's Pie.

  2. That is a lot of work! We don't have any wooden fences here, but I sure can appreciate the beauty of them!

    Long day. Whew.
