After all the rain we had yesterday, we sure ended up with gorgeous weather today. 72 degrees, a light breeze. Perfect.
After chores I start mowing the pastures and the ponies immediately came over to join me.
I did not finish....still have the big one to go.
Gary spent the morning working on the fence and at 1 we went down to watch Cooper's ball game. The first in the sectionals. He pitched 5 innings...
Unfortunately they lost and that ends Coop's High School career. This year he is not going to play on a travel team and will spend the summer working to gather some spending money for his first year at the University of Buffalo.
When we got back to the farm, Gary put the last boards up on the fence while I made dinner.
Drumsticks and potato salad.
Little Wonder and I went for a short ride to Country Max, but it was closed. We will try again tomorrow. Boy! Does he need to visit the groomer!
Night all.
Cooper sounds like a level headed kid who knows what he wants. Working for some pocket money while at college is a good thing.
ReplyDeleteIt will be a good experience for him!
Cooper looks like he can throw a ball! Traveling teams take up a lot of time. It will be good for Coop to spend some time working and more time enjoying the last summer before he officially enters the realm of adulthood.
ReplyDeleteLW looks shaggy adorable!
