The Heat is On!

This morning was fine, but the humidity this afternoon had an impact on me.  I think it's going to take me awhile to adjust to this pacemaker surgery.  Felt great in this morning, but being busy from 12:30-5:30 had me pooped.

Around 8:30 last night we used up the rest of our strawberries and tomorrow we are going to be picking more as we didn't pick today and there must be a lot more ready for the taking.

We've got morning chores down to a science and it only takes a little over half an hour.
This is the second new blossom we have had this week.  Hopefully none of the plants on the porch will get scorched tomorrow. May have rain tonight and it should be in the 90s with thunderstorms and hail tomorrow.  Great!  It's Jen's birthday and a bunch of us are taking her to lunch.

I did a few thing around the house before my friend Jean (here visiting family/from Missouri) arrived.  We had lunch and then spent a couple hours in the Studio playing our baritone ukuleles.  Always a great visit....and music is a bonus.
It was so yucky when we went out to do evening chores.

The ponies were happy to be tucked in and Little Wonder preferred
the cooler temperature in the house.
Night All.

  1. As you know, we had a reprieve today but it starts up again to morrow with heat and humidity. It's really good you have your music and your friends in music. Everyone looked ready to turn in for the evening, you have a great barn for keeping them cool.
