Yet another beautiful day. (Be prepared...this is a long one).
Gary has all these buckets filled with water from the hydrant in the barn....in case we don't get enough rain for all the veggie gardens. Fortunately, the 1200 garlic plants survive nicely.
I filled this container with strawberries and pulled some rhubarb
before driving out to Andrea's to drop off a harness.
She and Cindy were busy cleaning stalls, but we were able to talk at the same time. Esther was taking her mini out for a drive around the track and the beautiful Wallace was still spending a lot of time in his stall. Fortunately he has a small round pen on some grass so he can go outside.
Little Wonder loves Andrea, so he went with me.
He was very patient while we were talking and was ready to get back in the car for the ride home.
Gary spent much of the day working on the flower gardens. A HUGE job that will take a long time.
I made a smoothie (fresh pineapple, a banana, a splash of OJ, 4 tablespoons of plain Greek yogurt and three ice cubes). Just right for two glasses and took one out to him. This is going to be my breakfast starting tomorrow. Bananas are the key, and I will add strawberries and frozen blueberries.
Rebel and his pony had no masks on at chore time. Fortunately Gary went out and found them.
Dinner....a chicken salad sandwich. Simple.
Last night Cooper and Heather went to the prom.
He looks like such a dude in a tux.
I messed around with photoshop/watercolor and love the way this cropped photo turned out.
This must be his lucky day....as he pitched an entire game and the coaches put out this great write up. So glad he got some good playing time.
Night all.
I really enjoy seeing the bright, hopeful faces of youth! He is a dude, a good looking young man. 1200 garlic plants? Wow!
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand dude, he is the heart throb of 2022!!! Masks, they need a ribbon to tie under their chins!!
