Headed Back Into Spring

We did not reach 60, but it was a gorgeous day.

After chores I did some mowing...the grass was getting so long.

We had to rake it.
Gary has planted spinach and romaine in this old water trough.  If we have some sunshine I bet we will be eating it soon.
So glad the tulips have arrived.
The strawberries in this big pot come through no matter what kind of a winter we have.
At noon we went down to the Morgan Manning House for a celebration of life.  During Covid, both Betty and George Dunn passed away and the family was finally able to hold this reception.

We were back at the farm by 2:30 and had a couple of visitors out for a trail ride

Of course The Rebel and Seamus were curious.

When I went out to do evening chores....
Rebel was all set to go in his stall and Seamus was on high alert.
He noticed the towels on the clothesline and kept checking them out.

Before I finally enticed him with a cookie, he ran out to the small pasture several times.
Such a precious boy.
Tomato soup for dinner, as we indulged when we were at the Morgan Manning.
Night all.

  2. WOW! It's green there. You sure do pack a lot in a day, I'm beginning to feel like a loafer! Hopefully our weather doesn't head your way, it's been so wet. We have warmer weather on the way so I may be mowing before I know it. I did head your sage advice and bought a refrigerator.
