It rained 90% of the day and it was really ugly out there.....
Gary and his friend Randy took off for Mt. Morris around 10am to pick up an antique corner cupboard for Randy's dining room. It was so big he had to rent a truck from Lowes.
I will admit that the rain brought about some grass sightings, and that's a positive
The best part of the day was around 4:30 when my friend Andrea delivered her pony Shamus, who is now going to be Rebel's Pony (since Angel and Elliott are leaving on Sunday morning). I am honored that she trusts me with him, and I think he and Rebel will enjoy having the run of the place.
Shamus is an 11.1 Shetland cross and could not be more adorable. At first Rebel was in a panic, knowing there was a new "something" across from his stall. Once he and Shamus met at the gate he settled down. Shamus was cool the whole time.
Tomorrow I will get some better photos.
Tomato soup with ham and cheese sandwiches for dinner. No time to make something fancy.
By the way....Sidney is beginning to put a little weight on his leg and has no trouble going in and out and upstairs in the barn.
Night all.
Wow he looks like a beauty! Welcome to the farm!
ReplyDeleteOur pony has to stay separate from the mules but he has Sven the goat for company!
Sidney, great news, and the little fellow, what a difference in height, he looks totally adorable. Rebel, you have a new playmate, and I'm sure playtime will go well.
ReplyDeleteSo glad Sidney is getting better. Maybe he will stay more inside now and not risk being out in the wild. Enjoy your new boarder.
