Still waiting for some sunshine....how many times have I said that?
I brought my little sled up to the house last night so I could start using it when it snows. Loaded it with two gallons of hot water, soaked beet pulp, carrots and a bucket of rags that I washed yesterday. We use them all the time, cleaning out our grain buckets.
I am really sick of these grey days.
That was it for sunshine.
Our blossom of the week.
We had a She Sings rehearsal this afternoon at Nancy and Tom's......
reviewing old and starting to work on new songs.
It was almost dark when I got home and went into making dinner mode. Sloppy Joes, yams and coleslaw. Tasted great and now I can't wait to get out by the fire.
Night all.
I've been using my large 'carcass' sled for a while now without snow, but it makes taking the hay out easier.
ReplyDeleteI had to use Gorilla Tape on the bottom. I think I'll have to get a new one next year.
Lots of work caring for equine!
