#7342 An Amazing Sunset

It was a little warmer today and the humidity was already high when I went out to do chores.

Tomorrow I am going to top seed the outdoor arena again, and hope to get it to fill in like the lawn.

After chores I checked out the gardens.
Too many mosquitos so I gave up before getting to the strawberries
For some reason I was feeling ambitious enough to make our first batch of sauce.

Gary finished up the area in front of the indoor and now it looks pristine.
The ponies chose to be in the inside part of the afternoon.  Eventually we had a pretty heavy downpour.

I decided to make some pickled beets before we gave them all away.
At 4:30 we dropped Little Wonder off at Jenny's...his first time away from home with a babysitter.  Why not let him have some company?  We were invited out to dinner at the Tandler's along with the Fentons and Botts.  We had a great view of Lake Ontario and a spectacular dinner!

Les made a couple of loaves of Challah bread....some of the best ever!  Had no idea he was a baker!

He also made a boatload of ribs.  What a fabulous meal!!!!

Peach Crisp for dessert.
Of course we had a lot to talk about and really enjoyed spending time together.  Just before sunset we headed home.

Little Wonder survived his stay at Jenny's and we were back at the farm a little after 9.
Thanks Jenny.
Night all.
